AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): 5 women of a same house were beaten up and injured by drug dealers after they stopped them from selling intoxicant items in RK Nagar Panchayat Tila area under Bodhjung Nagar police station on Tuesday.

Reportedly, several youths led by a resident of the area named Nanu Mia sell intoxicant items in the area. Meanwhile, a woman named Hasina Khatun, a resident of that area, and her son stopped them from selling drugs in that area. Centering this, several youths led by Nanu Mia entered Hasina Khatun's house and beat up five women in the house.

Later, the injured women rushed to GB Hospital for treatment.

The youths after beaten them up woman threatened the woman named Hasina Khatun’s son  to be shot dead.
