CHARILAM, Nov 30 (TIWN): When in Charilam CPI-M, BJP clash generated tension, in the same place, Congress’s flags and festoons were allegedly destroyed by BJP.

The mandal president of the ruling party was has allegedly destroyed the campaign decorations of the Congress party.

The incident took place in front of the Congress building at Charilam Bazar late on Tuesday night.

Samarjit Ghosh, District Vice President of Youth Congress, while talking to media on Wednesday, alleged that the Congress party workers had decorated their party office with flag festoons on Tuesday. At night, a group of miscreants led by BJP Charilam Mandal President Rajkumar Debnath destroyed the materials of the Congress party and ransacked the Congress party office.

A written complaint has been filed by the Congress party at the Bishalgarh police station along with the names of those who were involved in the incident.

2023 state assembly election is ahead centering this, daily incidents of political violence are on report.
