AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): 10323 teachers continue their protests and struggle for existence after it has been 2 years since they were terminated from their jobs. The 10323 teachers regardless of any organizational identity will organize a rally on 26th September that is tomorrow. The decision was taken after their issue was not discussed in the Assembly Day-1. The teachers said that they will go into further protests if their issue is not taken seriously by the Govt. According to the 10323 teachers, Supreme Court RTI has clarified that 10323 teachers were not terminated. The 10323 teachers are in protest in all subdivisions and gheraoed school inspectors, but Education Dept has not given any statement on that matter.
Tripura BJP has failed to keep almost all promises given before 2018 election like Smart Phones for all Youths, Free Education to all girls up to College, Colleges in each constituency etc.
Even though CM was replaced but there is no sign of fulfilling Vision Document promises. Moreover, in the case of Govt jobs, the flow of jobs has been totally downed in comparison with the previous Govt’s time, though the BJP before the 2018 election had promised to fill up 50,000 Govt vacant posts of the Left Govt’s time.
10323 teachers faced the biggest blow under the BJP Govt as their vote banks though helped BJP to acquire the power they (10323 teachers) missed the opportunity to get employment under then Left Govt’s 12000 vacant posts which were created to employ the terminated 10323 teachers. BJP at that time had promised to make the 10323 teachers permanent by constitutional amendment.
