AGARTALA, Sep 21 (TIWN): Ahead of the upcoming Assembly Session, 10323 teachers have requested the Tripura Govt to raise their issue in the Assembly which is going to be started on 23rd September. Addressing media, Bijoy Krishna Saha said, “From 23rd Sep, the Assembly Session will start. Via media, we want to request the Tripura Govt to raise our issue and take a decision for us. Keeping our ongoing protests in mind, it will solve our problems".
"It was this Govt which before election in the Vision Document had promised us to solve our problems. Recently on being asked by media, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath himself said that this issue should be raised in the Assembly. Taking his statement we are now requesting the Govt to bring a solution to the long pending 10323 teachers issue as it had promised to do so”, added Bijoy Krishna Saha.
“This is our last request to the Govt. In presence of all MLAs, our issue should be discussed and solved. We hope before Durga puja we will get a good news, otherwise on 24th we will give a press release about our next movements”, said the 10323.
