AGARTALA, Sep 20 (TIWN): Amra Santanu organization has paid tribute to slain journalist Santanu Bhowmik on his 5th death anniversary.

Back in 2017, young photo journalist Santanu Bhowmik was brutally murdered and about 500 IPFT activists were booked in the rioting incident in Mandai where IPFT’s one MLA’s name was included but so far Santanu Bhowmik’s family did not get justice.

BJP as the opposition sought CBI investigation at that time and accordingly, after coming into power, BJP Govt ordered a CBI investigation in the murder case.

But right now the entire case is in cold storage and no development has come to the case. During Left Govt’s time, SIT led investigation’s accused persons are also roaming free.
