BISHRAMGANJ, Sep 20 (TIWN): In another slap on BJP Govt, today all Congress activists were freed in an alleged fabricated case against them on Bishramganj's 14th Sep incident. Court has bailed out all four youth Congress activists who were arrested after a clash in Bishramganj with police with provocation BJP. The Congress activists were arrested and sent to jail custody but on the second hearing, the Police failed to submit a single piece of evidence that could stand the statement of police as true. The court bailed out Youth Congress President Rakhu Das, Dulal Ghosh, Bittu Das, Hridoy Das in connection to a suo moto case against them lodged by Police.
Congress leader, Adv Harekrishna Bhowmik said that the entire case was lodged by Bishramganj police, investigated by Bishramganj OC, and it was said that the OC was injured along with many but failed to bring Doctor’s certificate.
Bhowmik informed that Section 148, 149, 333, 354, 427, 34 IPC charges were imposed on Congress activists and said if the Congress workers get bail then a political tension may be generated.
Congress stated the case is fabricate and fuelled with political vendetta.
After being bailed out, Youth Congress President Rakhu Das said, Congress will fight till the end until unseating the ‘dictator’ BJP Govt from power.
