Tripura undergoes heavy Post Poll Violence since BJP won 3 out of 4 Constituencies in By-Polls: CPI-M leaders met Victims of Capital Town Agartala

AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Northeast state Tripura has been undergoing heavy post-poll violence since June 26, the day of the by-poll result declaration. Though initially, Chief Minister Manik Saha claimed to be intolerant against goons regardless political identities but so far his words have proven wrong. Today CPI-M party members including Party State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury, MLA Ratan Bhowmik, MLA Sudhan Das met the victims in Ram Nagar, Indra Nagar, and Shyami Bazar.

The leaders visited Ramnagar 8 located at Hiralal Das’s home, Gour Kumar Bhattacharjee, Shyami Bazar’s Kiran Lodh, Santanu Debnath, and also met Indra Nagar’s Dipankar Sukla Baidya, Haradhan Debnath, Khela Sarkar.

The CPI-M leaders condemned the barbaric activities conducted by the BJP goons and expressed surprise at how BJP is celebrating poll victory after winning via false voting and rigging.
