AGARTALA, April 15 (TIWN): Under Biplab Deb’s Double Engine Govt, a miserable condition has gripped various parts of the state. Although CM Biplab Deb often claims that patients in Tripura do not have to go outside Tripura for treatments, but the reality is far from the claim. The biggest Govt hospital in Tripura that is GB is facing an acute water crisis. There have been drinking water as well as outside uses, toilet water crisis. The relatives of the patient parties they said on Thursday that due to lack of water in the hospital, they have to spend money in open market everyday to buy water. There are two water machines in the hospital but they have been out of order for a long time. The patient parties said that they have to spend around 200 rupees everyday for drinking water. Bathroom, Toilets’ conditions are horrible due to the low speed of the water.
Patients came from far distances have expressed heavy resentment over such disturbances.
A patient party said, “I am unable to go to the toilet for water. We have to buy even toilet water. Every day around Rs. 100 to Rs. 200 water has to be purchased. GB was in better condition before. Govt should take care of the matters”.
