AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who has already been labeled as ‘Mafia-Mukhiya’ amid the ongoing massive violence by his party BJP’s bike-gangs and helmet gangs, while interacting with media after a party meeting on Monday at his residence was asked a tough question by one of the journalists. The question was ---- ‘Why there was no arrest of any helmet gang for attacking at opposition rallies’? CM Biplab Deb turned angry and replied with a red look at the journalist and said, there is no bike-gang”. Biplab Deb also turned nervous and further asked the journalist, who gave him the information about the helmet gang. But the journalist continued chasing him seeking appropriate answers. At last Biplab Deb said, “People who ride bikes, must wear helmets but some people are labeling them with bike-gang with a political motive”.

When the entire state is condemning BJP led bike and helmet gangs’ attacks on the opposition, such a comment proves that it is CM Biplab Deb himself who deployed helmet gang to attack the opposition, otherwise, why being the Home Minister he is trying to save the criminals?
