AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN ): The professional fields are carrying dry-recruitment under the BJP led State Govt in Tripura amid BJP has its pre-poll commitment on 50,000 vacant posts' fulfillment within 1 year of Govt formation. Veterinary Doctors’ recruitment stopped for almost 7 years whereas nursing for 5 years. Tripura Govt in 2018 promising "New Recruitment Policy" for transparency had cancelled all ongoing recruitments and those cancelled examinations were not restored. TPSC examinations are almost stopped, Nurses, Doctors, even Ph.D holders are unemployed and for years there is no recruitment in various Departments. In such a crisis, Graduates and Master Degree holders were seen standing in rows for JRBT examinations but after 6 months, the JRBT results have not been published.

On the one hand terminations, abolition of vacant posts and job recruitment cancellation, reducing employment generation flow.

Tripura has ranked in the top list of the unemployment rate. It’s now nationally 3rd and in Northeast holding 1st rank.
