No Solution of 10323 Teachers' Issue : Joint Movement Committee of 10323 Teachers to Continue ‘Contempt of Court Case’ : To form Larger Protests

AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers led by Joint Movement Committee (JMC) on Tuesday after meeting the Education Director said they will go in massive protest as the Government has not left any option open for them. JMC said it will also continue the ‘Contempt of Court’ for violating Court verdict guidelines by the Govt. Talking to the media, 10323 teachers, JMC leaders said they are trying to receive the termination letter from the Govt which is important to file a case in the Court to restore their jobs as it was never proven that the jobs were given illegally and if ‘irregularities’ were done, the teachers had no fault their because they appeared in interviews with lakhs of unemployed youths as per Govt guidelines. Talking to the media, JMC leader Dalia Das said, “This Govt is unready to listen to us. It is just acting inhumanly".

JMC member Bijoy Krishna Saha said, “If the Govt has honesty and courage it must give us termination letters. It is needed for our further legal actions”.

A protest was staged at the Shiksha Bhawan. The terminated teachers said they will go to the Education Minister also to get their answers.
