AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress convener Subal Bhowmik on Tuesday has reacted to PM Modi’s Tripura visit, saying, Modi’s visit is fruitless as pre-poll promises given before the 2018 poll were not fulfilled.
Subal Bhowmik said, “Prime Minister’s visit to a state is always good for the state. It is subject to development but what about PM Modi’s promises which were given before the 2018 poll? He promised about double-engine and developmental revolution. From 7th pay Commission to MGNREGA man-days, wage hikes, what was not promised ?”
“BJP national leaders know that Tripura BJP is in crisis although they managed to win the Municipal Poll by massive rigging in future, they can’t do it. That’s why after PM Modi, J.P.Nadda will also come”, added Bhowmik.
