AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): Though there is no lack of security for MLAs, Ministers and sometimes party leaders, Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath was irked by journalists questions about the security arrangement in schools amid heavy theft incidents on rising. Tripura CM Biplab Deb is the first CM in the state using 20 vehicle security including ambulance arrangements and in some cases, politicians’ family members are getting security but the Minister has clearly denied deploying security or appointing night-guards in 4,400 schools.
The question raised is recruiting 4000 night-guards such a big deal? The schools which are suffering from regular theft incidents, Govt has not taken any step to install CCTV cameras there.
