AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Lamenting over Tripura Police’s paralyzed role against the broad daylight hooliganism of the BJP, Trinamool General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has raised question after landing in Agartala Airport, if police could arrest Sayani Ghosh over her ‘Khela Hobe’ remark from her vehicle why police are so incapable to take action against the hooligans of the ruling BJP party who organized brutal attacks in front of police in the police station ?Talking to media at Agartala MBB Airport, Abhishek Banerjee said, “We have filed around 50 FIRs over BJP’s attack with evidences since the month of August. Forget about arrests, have the police summoned a single accused from the BJP party ? But I assure the people of Tripura that Trinamool will not give up. Trinamool will not bow head before the Dictator Govt. Only Trianmool can fight against this undemocratic Govt and hooligans’ party”.

Sayani Ghosh was arrested in attempt to murder case based on a video where she exchanged ‘Khela Hobe’ remark with the road goers and BJP workers getting irked attacked her car.

Yesterday when Sayani Ghosh was called for interrogation at the East Agartala Women PS, BJP workers entered the police station and beat up the journalists, TMC members. Police instead of arresting, allowed all the hooligans to leave the place safely. Statewide Tripura Police’s role has been condemned.
