4 days long protest : School students demanding 40 marks exams staged a protest before Ujjayanta Palace

AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Demanding 40 marks exams instead of 80 marks the class-9 and 11 School students have been protesting since the past 4 days after the exam notification was declared by the Education Department. The students disagreed with the declared exam marks as it was supposed to be held on 40 marks. The students led by NSUI staged a protest in front of Ujjayanta Palace, Agartala demanding exams with 40 marks.
The student-protest was led by Samrat Roy, NSUI student leader. He requested other student organisations to come forward, to support them.
The protest will be continued until the Board withdraws their decision and agrees to take the exam with 40 marks, said NSUI.
