AGARTALA, Oct 28 (TIWN): A 12 years old minor girl was raped in Ambassa on 26th October.

The accused named Satyam Barak (40) has been arrested.

The victim went with her brother in a field with cows and Satyam Barak took an opportunity to kidnap the girl when her brother was little far away.

Later, family members found her and admitted her in a local hospital but due to her critical health condition she was referred to GB hospital.

Child Right Commission members visited the hospital and checked her condition, talked to the victim’s family.
