AGARTALA, Oct 24 (TIWN): Within 48 hours, 3 deadly attacks took place in Tripura on TMC members. After yesterday’s brutal attacks on TMC MP Sushmita Dev, today in Hawaii Bari, Teliamura route two more deadly attacks took place on TMC leaders. TMC had two joining programmes in the zone as a part of statewide joining programmes. In West Howaibari TMC members held a joining programme where 40 families and 225 persons joined the party. The programme was going on in a party leader’s house. but suddenly the participants were brutally attacked by BJP goons. The attack was organized by Panchayat Pradhan Ranjit Das. TMC leader Asish Lal Singh slammed the Police's role as Teliamura police stopped the TMC members requesting that they can not go. Around 50 BJP goons attacked on spot and in total over hundred accused persons are behind in an attack and similar attack took place in Teliamura also, where Baptu Chakraborty's vehicle was damaged and also his people were beaten up.

TMC Leader Baptu Chakraborty whose car was damaged in the attack has warned CM Biplab Deb and BJP President Manik Saha with a 15 days ultimatum to stop violence.

The attacked Trinamool leader Baptu Chakraborty also warned BJP to give befitting reply of Violence within a few days.

Hundreds of BJP goons led by Howaibari Panchayat Pradhan Ranjit Das organized the attack.

In various places, similar attacks have been underway for years centering the upcoming polls in the state.
