AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress slammed the BJP alleging a severe attack was organized against a Trinamool youth leader Santanu Sen who is now admitted in AGMC. Santanu Sen was attacked by unknown miscreants who were covering faces with black colour clothes on the night of Dashami. Talking to media, TMC converner Subal Bhowmik said, “This is really unfortunate that under the lawless situation, the Durga puja was not even peaceful in Tripura''. Bhowmik alleged massive violence was conducted in Durga puja and party offices of TMC were also attacked, vandalized. “Yesterday at Banamalipur, Ramthakur Sangha area around 10 12 bikes had attacked TMC member Santanu Sen. The miscreants who attacked the TMC member were shouting saying that nobody can do TMC in Banamalipur. But I want to tell the BJP that by doing these, nobody can stop TMC to strengthen its movement”, said Bhowmik.

“Each attack on us will strengthen TMC’s movement. How much blood do you want ? Do whatever but TMC will go in massive protests”, added Bhowmik.

“Attack on Santanu is the exposure of CM Biplab Deb’s stand that Judiciary is in his control and Tripura reels under mafia raj, police raj”, Bhowmik told media.

He further said, “Earlier in the day the BJP used to attack the TMC but now in night hours they attack the opposition as the public have started defending”.
