AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): Tripura High Court asked State Govt to submit details about regularization scheme which was constituted for SSA teachers' regularization after High Court’s order on February 23rd, 2021. According to SSA teachers, Tripura High Court had asked State Govt to regularize all the SSA teachers but Tripura Law Minister Lal Nath argued that High Court had asked State Govt to form a scheme for the SSA teachers’ regularization and as per the scheme only TET qualified teachers were regularized and rest of the teachers got pay hikes. SSA teachers stated that Tripura Govt has violated High Court’s order and consequently the SSA teachers filed contempt of court case in High Court aimed to be regularized. Now, Tripura High Court has sought details about the regularization scheme of the State Govt by November 1st.

Tripura High Court on 23rd February, 2021 had asked the State Govt to regularize all SSA teachers but Tripura Govt announced to regularize only 45 teachers who are TET qualified.

Tripura SSA teachers had filed the contempt petition as according to them, the High Court had asked the Govt to regularize all teachers. Now the next hearing is on November 9 and Tripura Govt will submit details about the scheme by November 1st.
