AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): BJP MLA Ratan Chakraborty has submitted nomination for Assembly Speaker post today.
He submitted nomination after the incumbent Speaker Rebati Mohan Das had resigned from the post.
So far no other contestant appeared for the post to fight Ratan Chakraborty. Most likely, he will become Speaker by tomorrow.
