AGARTALA, Aug 29 (TIWN): Amid 10,323 teachers’ miserable situation after losing their jobs, miscreants' non-stop attack state-wide on terminated teachers' houses became common regular incidents. Reportedly, around 20 bike gangs covering faces held an attack on a terminated 10,323 teacher house for attending CPI-M’s rally on 28th August in Belonia. The attack occurred late last night in Netaji Palli area under Belonia Municipal Council.
The attack took place on a 10323 teacher Naresh Debnath's house. Also his wife was beaten up by miscreants.
The hooligans further pelted stones at the house and then beaten up the women present in the house. While leaving the house miscreants ransacked furniture, household items and also vandalized Naresh Debnath’s elder brother Ganesh Debnath’s car.
However, the victims could not recognize the attackers.
Local PS was informed later and Police arrived at the scene and spoke to the injured persons.
