When the Director refused to meet them, students sat in protests for an uncertain period of time in front of the Education Director's office.

Talking to the media, a student said, "We submitted our memorandum 1 month ago but till now nothing has been confirmed. We need our demands to be fulfilled right now or we will not leave the office".
A student further said, "From a total 5 colleges, the students have come and many students have joined the protest travelling from far distances including Kumarghat, Kakrabon like areas. We demand our exams must be completed soon and an online system will be the best means".
Another student said, "Today is August 16 and the exam deadline ended in July. Next we have TET exams. Should we prepare for the TET or our College exams ? They are giving only dates and dates but no action was taken"
