'27% Reservation for OBC in AGMC Admission' : Ratan Lal Nath Announced

AGARTALA, Aug 2 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has announced 27% reservation for OBC in AGMC admission.
The reservation will be given for MD and MBBS both courses.
The decision came after the Central Government announced 27% reservation to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in the NEET examination.
Ratan Lal Nath said, over 2.27 lakhs people were given OBC certificates after BJP came to power and the process is continuing.
Tripura's 34% population is OBC, said Nath.
