SANTIR BAZAR, June 23 (TIWN): BMS leader Apu Majumder has beaten a journalist brutally in broad day light when he was covering a clash incident among BMS members and common men.

The attacked journalist has been identified as Biswajit Das. 

The videos show that Biswajit was covering the sudden issue erupted in the market and all of a sudden, BMS General Secretary of South Tripura who was already drunk snatched Biswajit Das's camera and then reportedly beaten him up. 

A complaint has been lodged in the local police station.
