AGARTALA, June 22 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Tuesday has blamed Covid-19 for State Govt's non-performance in various sectors including regularization of employees. Addressing the media at Secretariat, Ratan Lal Nath said, "One thing has to be kept in mind that we only got 1.5 years (one and a half years) to work and 1.5 years were snatched by Coronavirus' '. However, this statement from the BJP Minister has raised the question, whether non-BJP states can give the same excuse like BJP ruled state Tripura for failures ? He also claimed Andhra Pradesh, like big states, is far behind Tripura's vaccination rate, which is totally fake information. He announced regularization of science teachers, as the High Court's order's deadline is passing but as expected, the BJP Minister did not leave the opportunity to add a lie that it was Govt decision through cabinet meeting.

Ratan Lal Nath's pre High Court's verdict statements at least signalled that his Govt had no intention to regularize any employee so soon and Nath before High Court's verdict told the media clearly that science teachers can't be regularized right now due to Left Govt's legacy. Yet the High Court's another order on SSA's regularization is still waiting and BJP's promises to all contractual employees including NHM, RMSA are far from momentum.

However, amid all these, Ratan Lal Nath appreciated the people of Tripura because he believes, Tripura's people are now positive.
