Will the future entry of CBI mark end of CPI(M) in Tripura ? If High Court orders CBI probe in Tripura scams, Tripura to follow Bengal in 2015

AGARTALA, December 12 (TIWN): Mamata Banerjee never imagined in her worst dream that CBI would dare to arrest her right hand all powerful Transport Minister Madan Mitra today at Kolkata. But scams and sins never leave the tainted 'powerful' Ministers. Its time for Tripura CM Manik Sarkar to take a deep breath and think what will happen in future if CBI investigation arrests his close officials, Ministers involved in multiple scams like Rs. 50 Crore MGNREGA scam ? Scamster BDO Bimal Chakraborty is only one behind bar but many Bimals are still running their corruption empire with direct or indirect support from the supreme boss. One day certainly Tripura will witness like Bengal seeing powerful ministers getting arrested. If Tripura High Court orders a CBI investigation on multiple scams in Tripura as PILs filed by Congress and TMC, then same outcome is expected in Tripura.Interestingly most of the scams are taken place in those departments which are under the belts of the most trusted ministers of Manik Sarkar : Ratan Bhowmik( DWS), Bhanu Lal(Finance & ICA), Manik Dey(Power) ,Naresh Jamatia(RD) and Tapan Chakraborty(School Education).

27th October 2014 will always be regarded as a 'black day ' for CPI(M) party . Two Public Interest Litigations (PIL) were filed in the High Court - one by Congress spokesman Dr Ashok Sinha and advocate Dilip Deb and the other by a senior advocate Arun Ch Bhowmik- demanding CBI investigation in the large scale MGNREGA scam. And in the afternoon inspite of his heart felt argument advocate Saradindu Chakraborty could not give despite to Manik Sarkar's specially favoured TCS officer Bimal Chakraborty from going to 5 days of police remand. On Tuesday noon all the people of the state may know whether High Court gives its judgement in favour of the petitioners. From the part of Congress five advocates will defend the case and a top level advocate from Kolkata will also appear in the High Court once the PIL is in motion.

Now look into the salient features of these two PILs:-

1) Demand for CBI investigation in the current MGNREGA scam

2) Demand for submission of Audit Reports of all R D blocks about the missappropriatoon of MGNREGA fund

3) Demand for special audit in those block where audit is yet to be done

4) Submission of all audit reports in the High Court

5) CBI probe in the misappropriation of all centrally sponsored schemes( filed by Arun Ch Bhowmik in his PIL)

Now taking some of the recent judgements given by the High Court like 10323 Teachers' jobs termination case or the recent verdict of Calcutta High Court on Burdwan blast and Saradha scam one may also expect that High Court will also give its judgement in favour of CBI investigation especially when the looted amount is suspected to have  crossed Rs 500 to Rs 700 crore( in all Centrally sponsored funds). Interestingly most of the scams are now being taken place in those departments which are under the belts of the most trusted ministers of Manik Sarkar- Ratan Bhowmik( DWS), Bhanu Lal(Finance & ICA), Manik Dey(Power) ,Naresh Jamatia(RD) and Tapan Chakraborty(School Education).

In total ,though unofficially, the amount of scam have already crossed Rs 500 crore and not surprisingly the loin's share of this looted money was either consumed by the CPI(M) leaders or the looted fund had been utilized in the construction of the party offices. Indeed the centrally sponsored funds, which are allocated for the benefit of the common mass, have now become a hidden blessing for this seemingly indomitable CPI(M) party. But all on a sudden the leakage of various audit reports and outcome of CAG reports have simply out the CPI(M) and the Left Govt in deep trouble. If CBI inquiry is granted by the High Courybit may also reveal the direct contact of a section of top brass party leaders ,who are the real 'LOOTERAS' of such funds. If CBI finds any clue , they won't sit back and intetestingly all the centrally sponsored funds are allocated to lined departments. Thus, the concern is even more serious as all the lined departments will be under the scanner. And that will probably be the biggest loss of CPI(M) 'poster man' of recent times( after the landslides defeat of Budhdhadeb and his team in Bengal) Tripura Chief Minister Manik. Gradually more an more undiscovered scams will be unearthed. And it will be the real opportunity for the opposition.

During the 16 years of his Chief Ministership Manik Sarkar has very cunningly and successfully used a section of media to promote him as the ' Transperant, Clean, Honest and Poorest Chief Minister'. And once CBI starts to find out the scams after scams, Manik Sarkar's image will be thrown into the water of Gomati and Dhalai. Already a section of honest supporters have started to speak in public," If morality and good governance are the parameters of an administrators Manik Sarkar should not even lose a second but to resign ' For the sake of God" . Thus one may say," Entry of CBI will be the beginning of CPI(M)'s end Tripura."
