AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): In 3 years under Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Tripura BJP is split into 'two' along with very low-quality state leadership from Mohila Morcha to Yuva Morcha. If politically analyzed, departure of Tripura BJP's lifeline Sunil Deodhar after allegedly he faced "power tussle" with Biplab Deb as Biplab Deb has been arrogant to follow his instructions and then appointment Dr. Manik Saha as Party President who has been working more as Biplab Deb's assistant instead of uniting the party as a whole are some key reasons for BJP's popularity down. But the "Biggest Blunder" of Biplab Deb with help of the then National Secretary Ram Madhav was the "Sacking" of Health Minister Sudip Barman from the cabinet as Sudip Barman was the main face behind transferring Congress's vote banks into BJP vote-banks. Sudip Barman's sacking from Cabinet affected majority of the Anti-Communist vote banks.

Inexperienced leaders were given first preference when corruption level along with smuggling allegation nexus of Biplab Deb's coterie is being raised.

Along with corruption, Biplab Deb nepotism-base politics is another enough to create a disharmony inside the party.

Another reason was that from Finance to Sports, indeed in all Departments, Biplab Deb wanted to be the front face instead of giving any limelight to the other Ministers and in each programme he spoiled the project presentation with his gaffes, irresponsible speeches which everyday used to turn him into a comical figure inside the state and his speeches often were discussed at the national, international level.

Frequent use of Helicopters, his family members' open luxury lifestyles, inauguration of even police programmes via his family member - all these things damaged the basic reputation level of the whole system.

Apart from that "Booth Capturing", "Election Rigging", "Political direct attacks, threats on Police officials", "BJP's goondaraj", "House to House attacks" were wrong policies implemented in Tripura as unlike UP, Bihar Tripura's society is based on 97% literacy rate and people dislike undemocratic environments.

People here had never faced election rigging but now they are facing where the voters are stopped by BJP cadres to come out of homes to cast votes.

This culture of poll-rigging was introduced by Biplab Deb's regime, as previously it never happened.

Free Health Services were withdrawn from Govt hospitals and the Health system drastically downed. Now, in Tripura Govt hospitals people have to purchase oxygen per hour at Rs. 50.

When media raised the issues, media persons were brutally attacked,  forgetting the fact that it was the media which played a major role to change the Govt in Tripura.

Attacking, Sacking of eminent leaders from party like Prasenjit Chakraborty (founding leader of Tripura BJP, RSS) who was beaten severely in his home and arrest of Anupam Paul like youngsters who was BJP's IT cell head and Sunil Deodhar's favourite boy - such incidents also affected Tripura BJP.

Thus when in 2018, people flooded roads with massive support for Biplab Deb, now his programmes remain empty except any MLA is organizing a programme for him in his/ her area.

BJP's majority has raised slogan, "Biplab Hatao, Tripura Bachao" amid opposition Congress is allegedly inviting the angry BJP MLAs in their party back.
