AGARTALA, Jan 12 (TIWN): Veteran BJP leader Sudhindra Dasgupta who had passed away on December 12, 2017 and a veteran BJP leader to shape Tripura BJP's winning stage till 2016 was paid tribute on his death anniversary but the programme was done for namesake inside the Krishnanagar party office.

This negligence towards Dasgupta was complained by his close persons previously also. In a recent time, BJP also forgotten to observe such a day which created resentment in the party. However, his death anniversary was anyhow observed in the Krishnagar party office but no heavyweight leader was present except the party's present President.

He was considered as the backbone of the present BJP youths in Tripura along the the observer Sunil Deodhar.
