AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): Reacting over Education Director U.K.Chakma's use of "baseless" term against 10323 teachers and their activities, 10323 teachers' Joint Movement Committee has warned him to restrain his words from insulting the teachers. Today the teachers met the Education Director U.K.Chakma but they were seen returning in angry mode over the word "baseless". After meeting Education Director U.K.Chakma, 10323 teacher Bijoy Krishna Saha while delivering speech at 10323 teachers agitation spot at Agartala City Centre called U.K.Chakma a "Baseless Man" and told him "Your Job is baseless". Bijoy Krishna Saha added that U.K.Chakma was never a teacher but a TCS officer and thus U.K.Chakma does not know how to respect teachers, asking him not to use such words against teachers anymore. He said, "In 2017, you spoke all illegal things and even today also, you are saying all illegal things. You are still claiming that we have been terminated but may I know where is my termination letter with my name ? Where is my name in Supreme Court's verdict ?"

"If you can't handle things, leave the chair. Many officials are there who can be Education Director better than you", said Saha.

Calling a press meet then 10323 teachers JMC said, "A termination can not be in group and it must be individual, specific. On yesterday, by post a teacher received termination letter but nowhere his name is written and also as it has come yesterday, Govt should immediately release last 9 month's pending salaries".

Apart from JMC's statement, in general it is quite surprising that although teachers were terminated in 31st March, 2020 but no termination letter was given to teachers. Moreover, from yesterday the termiantion letters started to be distributed but nobody's name is there in those letters.

Question raises, why wasn't the termination letter given before, untill the teachers raised question ?
