TIWN Dec 29, 2020

AGARTALA, Dec 29 (TIWN): Spike in corruption, crime, and violence due to unemployment emerged as the top issue in Tripura creating panic among the public. Efforts have not really paid off much yet as we get unpleasant surprises of newer corruption cases every now and then. Likewise, crime and violence have become an intrinsic part of our lives in recent days.
A group of miscreants stole a bike numbered TR 01P 7221 from inside the BSNL office at Kaman Chaumuhani in Agartala.
This unpleasant theft happened despite having a CCTV camera in front of the office. A complaint has been lodged at West PS.
Public alleged that unemployment is giving rise to crime and corruption in the state. Unfortunately, the present Government has failed to tighten its stranglehold on law and order and to look at more employment generation opportunities.
