AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers who were promised in 2018 by BJP to be saved once BJP is voted to power, sat in massive protest for indefinite period of time from today at City Center, Agartala. Amid the protest, the teachers sought relief from their 'jobless situation' to whom the BJP Govt is committed. The teachers are now jobless for last 9 months although BJP's Vision Document promised to solve the 10323 teachers problems permanently after BJP wins the election in Tripura. Recently, CM Biplab Deb seeking 2 month's time assured that he will solve their problems but he is observing deep silence from then without solving the 10323 teachers problems. Total 3 organizations have joined in this joint protest from Monday. The organizations are : 1) Ad-Hoc pay teachers committee of 10323, 2) Justice for 10323 and 3) Amra 10323. The agitating teachers have united in "Joint Movement Committee" forum to break the silence of the State Government and to force the Government to fulfill its promise.
Over thousands of teachers have already joined the agitation programme and the teachers said that they will continue their protests until the Govt keeps its given promise to them. "Before 2 months CM Biplab Deb has given a fresh promise to secure our lives but till now, he has not given a single statement for us and is not breaking his silence. If the words of a CM has no value, what can we expect from a Govt and what should we do ?"

"This agitation will end when we will get our jobs as per the promise of the leaders given to us before and after the election", said an agitating teacher while protesting at City Center, Agartala.
