AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): As the BJP led State Govt has failed to fulfill its pre-poll promises given to 10323 teachers, today the sacked teachers have kicked off fresh protest seeking their jobs back. Total 3 organizations have joined in this joint protest from Monday. The organizations are : 1) Ad-Hoc pay teachers committee of 10323, 2) Justice for 10323 and 3) Amra 10323. The agitating teachers have united in "Joint Movement Committee" forum to break the silence of the State Government and to force the Government to fulfill its promise. Over thousands of teachers have already joined the agitation programme and the teachers said that they will continue their protests until the Govt keeps its given promise to them. "Before 2 months CM Biplab Deb has given a fresh promise to secure our lives but till now, he has not given a single statement for us and is not breaking his silence. "

"If the words of a CM has no value, what can we expect from a Govt and what should we do ?"

Thus, we had no other option except starting this massive agitation. This agitation will end when we will get our jobs as per the promise of the leaders given to us before and after the election", said an agitating teacher.
