AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): As Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's promise to 10323 teachers has been proving once again "fake", the sacked teachers are now preparing dais to conduct the biggest ever movement in the form of Hunger Strike. The Chief Minister had sought 2 months time from the agitating teachers but when he gave the promise, it was on 3rd October when the teachers met him in his official residence followed by a massive Secretariat gherao programme, but on December 3rd, two months will be completed although since CM gave his words to the terminated teachers but there is no solution to the problem of 10323 teachers' livelihood. BJP in its Vision Document and also in speech-promises before 2018 Assembly Election as opposition party had promised that the 10323 teachers either will be either reappointed or will be allowed to continue their jobs.
Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on that time, if needed a portion of the Educational laws will be changed for the 10323 teachers. Himanta Biswa Sarma said on that time that the file was sent to Law Ministry already but what happened to that file in 2018, it could not be known today date.
But, after almost 3 years of completion, the reality exposed horrifyingly and the teachers are jobless for last 9 months. As per sources 3 organizations 1) Justice for 10323, 2) Ad-hoc Sangathan, 3) Amra 10323 will jointly hoist the agitation and that will be biggest ever movement. Already Hunger Strike has been kept on schedule and the teachers said that no bullet can move the agitators from the protest spot and if anything wrong happens, then Tripura Govt will be responsible.
