AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): MGNREGA mandays scam which was alleged by the opposition time to time is now again raising, as the State Law Minister Ratanlal Nath claimed a drastic jump up of the MGNREGA mandays. But the ground reality is totally different from the claim of the Minister and in recently done various news coverages, TIWN has shown how the daily workers, poor people are alleging about lack of MGNREGA works in state. Addressing media, Minister Ratanlal Nath said that from mandays to wage everything are at rise under the BJP Govt. Ratanlal Nath stated, "As you know that due to COVID-19, we are reeling under tremendous economic problems but still it's important to let you how the Govt is working to boost the rural economy".

As per the Law Minister's statement, the mandays year-wide in comparison are :

2017-18 FY : 404.40 crores

2018-19 FY : 435.40 crores

2019-20 FY : 731.18 crores

2020, till November : 877.22 crores
