AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): Data analysis reveals the major reason behind Tripura worsening unemployment rate is due to zero recruitment in Govt departments. Basically, the real situation is not even zero but (-) minus recruitment means when over 8,000 jobs had gone among 10323 and it's already 7 months, now, the Govt has announced hardly a recruitment of 4,000 in next year which means no job creation but at minus recruitment. BJP Govt also cancelled existing recruitments, terminated various contractual employees time to time which has left the situation at worst. As per CMIE data, Tripura's unemployment rate is 17.4% which is highest in Northeast, whereas the neighboring state Assam's unemployment rate is just 1.2%. Nationally Tripura's position is 3rd after Uttarakhand which has recorded 22.3% in last month and Haryana whose unemployment rate is 19.7%. This is the data of October month, 2020, published by CMIE today on November 1st, 2020.

Ironically, BJP Govt has sought fitness review of Govt employees which is again suspicuous as per Govt employees predictions, raising doubts whether it will cause Force-Retirement or not.
