AGARTALA, December 1 (TIWN): After the denial of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to meet the Tripura Cabinet Ministers at Civil Secretariat, - finally PM met with cabinet at State Guest House's conference room. Manik Sarkar met Modi on Sunday at Guwahati DGP conference and requested again to meet his state cabinet at Tripura. So, PMO agreed to meet State cabinet for 10 minutes at State Guest House, Agartala.

Earlier Chief Minister Manik Sarkar made an official announcement before the media on Nov 25th  that the Tripura Ministers had been scheduled to meet the PM Modi at the Secretariat during his visit on December 1. 

But on a separate media interaction on Friday at the state central library, it was announced that the Tripura Minister’s meeting with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been cancelled. 

It is to be mentioned here that after all the recent multicrore scams came to light most of the scamsters are close aids of our So. Called Mr. Clean Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.  

Meanwhile on Sunday, Nov 30th evening at Palatana Plant,  PWD Minister Badal Choudhury told the press that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to have a courtesy meet with the State Cabinet after his return from Palatana. A highly placed sources in state Secretariet told this correspondent ," On Sunday during his meeting with the PM Chief Minister Manik Sarkar requested PM Modi to meet the state cabinet even for a short time. PM Modi might have given some posiitive signal in response to CMs request. However,till now there is no official confirmation given from the PMO." But this will be interesting to see whether PM visits state Secretariet or not.

Just after the cancellation of the Tripura Cabinet Ministers meet with the Prime Minister NarendraModi during his visit here in Tripura have cast a shadow over the Tripura Government. The recent massive corruptions of the state is likely to be the main motive behind the cancellation of the meeting, said a high level source of Melarmath, here today.

And this has brought darkness over the Tripura Ministers.

It is to be mentioned here that the way corruptions and crimes against women gripped the state, the state govt. might have also lost every way to ask for even the helping hand of the central govt. And the recent corruptions under the rule of left front govt. might be the only reason behind the cancellation of the Modi’s schedule with the Tripura Ministers on December 1. What more strategy left with the Tripura govt. to own through which the people of the state had already been fooled, and the central’s fund had been looted at large?
