KAILASAHAR, Nov 28 (TIWN): Harvest-clash injured six persons including a woman around 9 am this, morning at Kaler Kandi village under Irani Police Station, at Kailasahar. In the incident one minor boy of 11 years of age found missing. Tension gripped the area and police rushed to the spot to handle the situation.
According to the police and locals, today morning one Samsu Mia of Kalerkandi went to harvest crop from his own land. Then, a Manjir Mia of nearby Safrikandi came to the field and instructed Samsu to not to harvest. But naturally, Samsu denied. Then Manjir came with his four sons and attacked Samsu and injured him severely. Hearing his hue and cry, his wife rushed to the spot and she was also injured.
Hearing about this attack, the relatives of Samsu attacked back on Manjir and party and made him and his three sons injured. In the meantime, a relative of Manjir went to the locality to know about the incident. But he came under attack and fled away. Later his bike was broken to pieces by the angered relatives of Samsu. However Samsu got 19 stitches in his head and likely to be shifted to GBP Hospital from RGM, Kailasahar. Manjir also got serious injuries in his legs and hands. A minor boy of Manjir of 11 years of age found missing till now. Tension gripped the area and police rushed to the spot to handle the situation.
