AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): ‘Modi Govt taking up Anti-People Laws taking opportunity of COVID-19 Crisis’, such has been commented through a protest in Agartala by All India Krishak Khet Majdoor Sangathan (AIKKMS) on Thursday.
Protesting against Anti-Farmer Ordinances staged by Khet Majdoor, saying, “By the commodity related fresh law, contract-based works, BJP Govt is snatching Farmers’ rights and to facilitate the corporates, all such are being done when country is paralyzed in COVID-19 crisis”.
“The new ordinances will not spare the farmers of Tripura. Govt must pull out the decisions”, said Subrata Chakraborty, Convenor of AIKKMS.
The organization further raised voice against increasing petrol, diesel prices across the country, hiking all the commodity prices. The objection was, when the country is silenced under COVID-19 crisis, why the Government is taking these decisions ?
