AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Former Minister, former MP, CPI-M’s indigenous wing Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) President Jitendra Choudhury in reaction against IPFT’s 24 hours strike has said that IPFT’s strike proves where the law and order today standing in Tripura.
“Kurushetra between BJP, IPFT is nothing new. Earlier also, similar protests erupted in state centering the anarchy under BJP regime. No opposition party today allowed to work freely. Blood donation camps, Relief camps are severely attacked”, added Jitendra Choudhury.
IPFT’s Strike received success in ADC today as the ADC remained paralyzed in Strike. The strike was called in protest against arrest of an IPFT worker Pradip Debbarma after BJP and IPFT’s clash.
No vehicle movement was observed during the Strike hours, which will be continued till tomorrow 6 am. However, the Strike till now was democratic and peaceful.
