Tripura BJP senior Leader quits Party to start a New Party, accused ‘New Comers are destroying BJP’

AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Tripura BJP senior leader, cum RSS leader Prasenjit Chakraborty, who was severely threatened, physically attacked recently after criticizing the Govt in social media, has resigned from BJP with 13 persons.

All 13 persons were active BJP workers who worked from former President Lt. Sudhindra Dasgupta’s time or before.

Recently, he criticized state BJP’s undemocratic activities which have destroyed the party’s image already. He criticized through his writing often in social media and sometimes through facebook live. He never supported BJP’s ongoing violent attacks on common men or any opponent, as this was never BJP’s ideology.

After this, he faced severe attacks from the party and recently few mask and helmet wearing miscreants held attacks on him in his home. But when media asked CM about such an attack on a senior leader, CM told media that Tripura has no senior leader.

Prasenjit Chakraborty has laughed at CM Biplab Deb, said, that man did not have a single day’s political experience before he became State President ‘accidently’, but the resigned leader did not lengthened the issue much.

Prasenjit Chakraborty said that recently in newspaper and in press release, he was called as former BJP leader but the person who signed the press release, he joined BJP after 3rd March, 2018.

However, after quitting party they have started a new party and the agenda, names of the new political party to be announced soon.
