DHARMANAGAR, July 1 (TIWN): On 30.06.2020, the Ld. District & Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Dharmanagar (Sri GoutamSarkar) convicted one accused namely Md. Askar Ali (45) S/O Lt. Mansab Ali of Madhya Fulbari, W/No. 03, PS- Churaibari U/S 376(I) of IPC and sentenced to suffer R.I for 10 (ten) years with a pay of fine Rs. 10,000/-, I.D to further suffer R.I for 01 (one) year. This refers to Churaibari PS Case No. 20/10, Dated 08.05.10 U/S 376 IPC.
The case was investigated by SI Kamalendu Dhar (Now under South District). During investigation I.O of the case had taken all efforts to complete investigation on priority basis. On completion of investigation, I.O had submitted the Charge-Sheet on 29-09-10 U/S 376 IPC, against the FIR named accused namely Md. Askar Ali (45) S/O Lt. Mansab Ali of Madhya Fulbari, W/No. 03, PS- Churaibari to face trial in the open court of law.
On completion of the trial, Sri GoutamSarkar, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Dharmanagarconvicted the accused as stated above. Ld. PP Sri Partha Paul has conducted the case as Public Prosecutor.
