AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Tripura’s various ADC and rural areas are yet untouched by development, suffering from poor connectivity, roadways. India received independence before 6 decades and Tripura became a part of India in 1949 but as Indian citizens how far fundamental rights of people are saved, it can be fact-checked if can be entered in deep rural areas of Tripura and in various ADC villages. In such a coverage, TIWN visited Laxmipur village in Mungiakami where the local people have made a bamboo-constructed pool which has turned risky in the monsoon. Talking to locals they said that never they had a proper connectivity there and as a result if anyone becomes sick also, they have to carry the patient by themselves.
No fire brigade, no ambulance can enter there. The people there, have sought State Govt’s attention for the road-recovery.
However, a block office was spotted in that area amid such ongoing suffering and apart from roadways, drinking water, power connectivity are too major problems without permanent solution.
Around 18 families are living in that Laxmipur village and they have also children, who need to go to schools whole year by such pathetic road.
Permanent bridge or culvert have been demanded by the locals.
