AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, March 30 (TIWN): Tripura Govt officials are in continuous strive in the control room to help the people are stuck in various situations and problems. The officials are inside, outside the control room to tackle the Corona-Virus pandemic led situation in state, which is affecting state’s own people who are stranded outside the state specially. Over 500 phone calls are being received in the day time in that control room and the control room officials are further contacting the stranded people calling them back, said a Govt official on Monday. The control room is active 24x7. Total 3 numbers are active : 241-2424, 241-3434, 231-5879. This control room is assisted by various Departments' officials including Medical staffs. Stranded people in other states are continuously being helped out with information, whereas those states are taking care of them but the expenditure is being carried by Govt of Tripura.
Food and Civil Supplies and Health Secretary Debasish Basu said that it is a great relief that no positive case was found in Tripura with Corona-Virus disease and public are very alert about the surrounding.
Those who are in quarantine, if not following rules, strict actions are being taken against them, said the official.
Debasish Basu further explained about the ratioing prices and free ration distribution system.
He further said that no shortage of LPG to be existing as these are on the way along with fuel.
Food grains have been given covering 38% people which is record breaking of 2 days.
Rice is having a stock for more than 60 days, moosoor daal stocks to be covered up soon. Govt is keeping checks on other essential commodities also.
Tripura Govt officials are performing in fast and sytematic manner, proving that a section of political allegations about their quality are false, rather Tripura Govt officials including police work in best ways if they are given free hands.
