TIWN March 20, 2020
AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): The BJP which promised to give 50,000 Govt jobs in 1-Year saying, “There are total 50,000 vacant posts in Govt Dept and BJP Govt will fillup them in first 1-Year if voted to powerâ€, is now on question-marks, unable to answer on the pre-election Fake promises.
Today, after a chaos erupted in Tripura Assembly over 10323 teachers issue, Opposition walked out of the Assembly. Manik Sarkar condemned the undemocratic environment of the Assembly, which doesn’t allow opposition to speak or question.
Reacting over media questions about 10661 posts vacant announced by Education Minister on yesterday after cabinet meeting, Manik Sarkar asked, “Before election, they said that 50,000 vacant posts are there but now it is saying that around 10,000 posts are there. How is it possible”.
Sarkar further commented that in all promises of the Vision Document, the BJP is doing the same.
On being asked by media about yesterday’s Cabinet decision Manik Sarkar said, this same decision which was taken on yesterday by cabinet on 10323, why the Govt could not take the decision earlier but just 12 days before terminations ? He said, this is just to divert the issue.
He asked, after 31st March who will give the teachers food, medicine, livelihood ?
Manik Sarkar said, “Supreme Court never decides what Govt will do in recruitment process. Only after recruitment, Supreme Court may give opinion if anyone files petition”.
