AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): 10323 Teachers have tasted BJP as a life-time political doze and what is called a ‘fraud’ party to loot vote banks with fake promises. The 10323 teachers who were promised to have a great future by top political leaders at the national level and also Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who promised the same before election today has sent huge numbers of police and arm forces to remove the teachers and dragged them from the spot. This incident took place when their leader Bimal Saha was absent and went for natural work. Police arrested the teachers, spoiled their computer, sound boxes and other items. After seeing the situation and empty protest spot gheraoed by police, Bimal Saha has condemned the incident. Police were trying to remove the teachers from yesterday night as DM imposed section-144 claiming Corona-virus threat. The 10323 teachers were demonstrating in Orient Chowmuhani demanding.

Earlier, 10323 teachers alleged that Tripura Govt is imposing Corona-Virus alerts to stop 10323 teachers’ protest and now media and public started raising question on the intention of the BJP Govt behind sudden restrictions in Tripura due to Corona-virus threats whereas when the situation was alert earlier also, no step was taken by Govt to control the situation. It can be noticed that 10323 teachers also to lose jobs on March 31st when till when the Corona-virus emergency line has been drawn. On yesterday, police asked 10323 teachers to withdraw protest and night-long negotiations continued and all the teachers were arrested.

10323 teachers led by Ad-Hoc association have Kicked off protests for livelihood by blowing a conch on Saturday.

While placing the demonstration the teachers placed 5 points of demands : 1) To save their livelihood, 2) To provide die-in-harness jobs to the died 10323 teachers families, 3) Withdrawal of termination letters, 4) Validation Act etc, 5) Job continuation with all facilities counting from date of appointments.

They have said, behind losing their jobs, the teachers did not have any fault but it is Education dept’s fault. Mentioning about BJP’s Vision Document promise to them, 10323 teachers said that if the Govt forgets its promise, the protests will be written in history !  As Education Dept is not declaring anything for the teachers, thus the teachers have gone in massive protest.

However, the top leaders from Tripura to Assam to Centre all are silent, whereas Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is no more entering Tripura after the election.
