AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): The political swing with 10323 teachers issues went on peak in 2017 when the then opposition BJP launched a full-set drama with the teachers promising to manage their “Job Continuation” and the lead role was taken by Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Tripura’s present Chief Minister, who was the State President of BJP on that time Biplab Deb. Now, in 2020, the BJP Govt has taken a 360 degree turn from the given promise and finally present Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has said, he can’t compromise with quality education even if he is gunned down, indirectly insulting the 10323 teachers on their quality and background forcing the teachers to go in massive protest today. Terminated 10323 teachers, who were used by BJP as the tool of vote banks before Assembly Election 2018, Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma promised to solve problems under Central Law Ministry, now resulted in JUMLA of BJP-era. Ratanlal Nath’s statement on May, 2019 created chaos in front of the Education Department.

In a latenight protest, insulted 10323 teachers over Education / Law Minister Ratanlal Nath’s controversial comment regarding 10323 teachers, the teachers told media, “We condemn the ongoing defamation on Chief Minister, but what about our defamation which is done by this Minister day-night ? He has called us incapable and also said, Govt is bound to keep the teachers in job whereas when qualified candidates will come, the 10323 teachers will be removed from the post. We want to ask, after such comment can we face the little children in the school ? Are our certificates Fake ? Our marks can be less but do we carrying duplicate certificates ?”
Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Fake promise to 10323 teachers about ‘pending file’ in Union Law Dept erupts resentment as before election the 10323 teachers were promised to be kept in teaching profession but Education Minister Ratanlal Nath while interviewed by a local TV channel said, “I can’t compromise quality education, if I am gunned down”. The terminated 10323 teachers to go in massive protest today at the Citi Centre premise, the teachers announced in a press meet. They have also warned to go for hunger strike in coming days if their futures are not made safe in the non-teaching posts.According to Supreme Court’s order the teachers will lose their ad-hoc job on March 31st, 2020 and BJP in its Vision Document had promised to secure their jobs.In this situation, the teachers are now preparing for mass protest to secure their future.
10323 teachers were terminated by High Court, Supreme Court due to irregularities in recruitment procedure. They are in ad-hoc basis jobs now.
When one month left for the termination of 10323 teachers according to Supreme Court’s order, Himanta Biswa Sarma’s pre-poll promises are now viral in social media who asked 10323 teachers to leave supporting CPI-M before the election as CPI-M could not do anything for them. What is the status of that file submitted to the Law Dept is today unanswered and all responsibilities were dumped on none other than Law/ Education Minister Ratanlal Nath although the promises were purely given by Himanta Biswa Sarma and Biplab Deb before election. On the other side, differences between 10323 teachers continues in Tripura and parted in 2 sections. One is still with the BJP Govt and another is questioning the Govt.
However, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath many times said that BJP Govt is very positive for the victimized 10323 teachers and also Nath said, still he is alive, nothing will hit the 10323 teachers.
10323 teachers lost their jobs first in High Court, then in Supreme after courts found irregularities in their job recruitments. BJP before election promised the teachers to solve their problems  by changing a “portion” of the Education law only for Tripura. In this situation, the victimized teachers are yet hopeful on the Govt.
In the meanwhile, around 50 of the 10323 teachers died unnaturally due to tension, depression.
Terminated 10323 teachers have demanded immediate solution to their ongoing problems about job uncertainty.
