AGARTALA, Jan 30 (TIWN): A Bangladeshi couple was arrested with huge numbers of yaba tablets and gold items from Tripura border areas.

Reportedly, on 30th January, 5 pm from Jahir Uddin and his wife Farida Aktar arrived in Muhurighat checkpost with valid passports from Noakhali.

From them, 112 yaba tablets were found and the market price of the seized items is Rs. 10,000 at least.

Also 3 lakhs of rupees gold items were recovered from them.

BSF Bn-200 while checking have found this. The couple was later handedover to Belonia Police.
