AGARTALA, November 6 (TIWN): With another success of Tripura, the Tripura Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) received a Platinum Award from Delhi based NGO. AMC Commissioner Abhishek Chanda received the award on September 24 2014 on behalf of AMC.

While talking to the media persons at AMC conference hall, AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha on Thursday said that the AMC has been kept most clean inside due to which they has received the Platinum Award from a Delhi based NGO.

However, beside the AMC Deputy Mayor Samar Chakroborty and Commissioner Abhishek Chanda remained present on Thursday during the press conference.

It is to be mentioned here that though its an another success for the state Tripura but is it another such success with which the state govt. can again raise its head up? Because an un-rested pollution has gripped the Capital City Agartala at large, where the city dwellers has been facing several hurdles, especially during the rainy season when the city Agartala floats on flooded water. Beside to mention here, the recent scams and corruption has also polluted Tripura.
