AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): High Court’s order cancelling Reliance Life company ( An Ambani Group company) from supplying cancer drugs to Tripura Cancer Hospital unearthed massive corruption in Health Ministry headed by Biplab Deb. Not only that, from various quarters its being reported that, only to indulge these corruptions in Health Ministry, former Health Minister Sudip Barman was removed unceremoniously. Only after Sudip Barman’s removal, this corruption was committed via awarding cancer drug contract to an Ambani Company against the laid procedure of minimum 3 yrs manufacturing experience.

BJP Govt's massive scam exposed after Tripura High Court cancelled Cancer Drug supplier Ambani Company (M/s Reliance life style private Ltd). How BJP Govt can order to supply cancer drugs from a company which has no required manufacturing experience over 3 years? Mumbai based company, belongs to Dhirubhai Ambani group which was favored illegally by Biplab Deb led Health Ministry over other qualified vendors like Biocon. Health Minister cum CM Biplab Deb's undue favour to Ambani Company raised important questions statewide that why BJP Govt had to bend rules to accomodate medicine supplier Ambani Company ? Rs 2 crores corruption, kickbacks are suspected as BJP Govt's whole cancer drug deal with Ambani company is now cancelled by High Court ( case case no. WPC 1018/2019).

Tripura Health Ministry and Cancer Hospital committed a massive corruption after they selected the Ambani company which has no experience in manufacturing those drugs.

Even after BIOCON company reported this corruption to Health Ministry, BJP Govt formed a namesake committee which again overlooked the main issue that this Ambani company has no prior manufacturing experience with the Cancer drugs needed in Tripura's Cancer Hospital. Biplab Deb's Health Ministry ignored Biocon's objections and allotted the cancer drug tender to Ambani Group.

Bribes, various kickbacks are suspected in this shady deal, also this deal was done immediately after removal of Sudip Roy Barman from Health Ministry.

It is very clear with the sequence of events that, Biplab Deb, Ratan Lal Nath to other BJP's top decision makers wanted Sudip Barman out from Ministry so that this Rs 2 Crores corruption can happen.

TIWN spoke with Biocon company officials, they were surprised that how a State Govt can award a muticrore contract to a company not even making few lakhs profits, neither any capacity to manufacturing facility ?

Loss Making  Reliance Lifestyle Holdings paid-up capital is only Rs 5 lakhs, barely no income but Tripura Govt awarded them a multicrore contract
