AGARTALA, Nov 27 (TIWN): Supreme Court led terminated 10323 teachers who were promised by the BJP Govt to get a secure life once BJP is voted to power, now are undergoing massive tensions as BJP Govt is far from its promises.
In the Vision Document BJP had promised and the scripted words are : “The Government will resolve the problems of 10323 teachers keeping humanitarian consideration in mind”.
However, the termination date is on March 31st, 2020 and so far no solution could be found by the Govt.
According to Supreme Court’s order the 10323 teahers of Tripura will lose their ad-hoc extension by 2020, Marcg 31st. Since 2014, the terminated 10323 teachers have continued their battles for existence after Tripura High Court in 2014, 7th May terminated all the teachers spotting irregularities in recruitment. The situation started to be critical due to previous CPI-M Govt’s ego against petitioners and instead of providing them jobs according to High Court’s order, the Govt started the battle in Supreme Court and finally Supreme Court in 2017 held High Court’s decision. Now, this is the ultimate time when final decisions about 10323 teachers will be taken.
